Since 2008, Extra Life has united thousands of players from around the world to play in 24 hour gaming marathons in support of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Those players have gone on to raise of $22 million dollars #ForTheKids
SideQuest has raised over $10,000 for Extra Life since they were made a Partner Charity in 2013.
Committed to assisting disabled gamers everywhere, The AbleGamers Foundation works with game developers to ensure their games are accessible to those with disabilities, provide grants to disabled gamers to purchase customized gaming technology, and cultivates a community where disabled gamers can come together to discuss new and inventive ways they can overcome barriers in games.
They were made a SideQuest Partner Charity in 2014 and since then we have raised over $5,000 for AbleGamers.
TakeThis is leading the charge to let gamers know they are not alone. Informing gamers and the wider gaming community about about the mental health issues impacting their lives, they work tirelessly to raise awareness of mental health issues, provide education on mental disorders and mental illness prevention, and to reduce the stigma of mental illness.
They are widely known for their AFK Rooms at conventions such as PAX, GenCon, and E3. SideQuest is currently working with TakeThis and Rooster Teeth events to bring an AFK Room to RTX Austin.
